S T A C I A N
is Dania Luck — a sound designer, recording artist, performer, and visual artist utilizing various media including analog synthesizers, hacky electronics, computer code, video, and voice to create sonic and visual environments rooted in minimalism and punk philosophy. Luck graduated from Mills College in 2017 earning an MFA of Electronic Music and Recording Media, for which her thesis explored music therapy and its role in the treatment of mental trauma.
Luck's various projects include STACIAN, CLONER, Person L, & Māren. She also DJs under the pseudonym Luck Croix with heavy influence of electronic, industrial, punk, no wave, new age, and countless other genres of music.
